Our Story

Salina Mennonite Church was founded by a group of ethnic Mennonites who met as a house fellowship before forming a congregation in 1982.  During the first 22 years we met in several rented facilities.  In 2004 we purchased our own building. Our congregation includes people of various ethnic and religious backgrounds who gather together around concerns for peacemaking, service, community, and simple living.
